Having someone like Ms. Shay in the GOP is one thing, but having the dedicated under 40 set voting for and electing her to a chairmanship is quite another. By representing the Young Republicans, Ms. Shay sends the signal that the GOP is, as the stereotypes perpetuated by the left suggest, a party of bigoted white people. I could not agree more.
