The NRSC just released a new web ad entitled “Candidate Obama vs. President Obama” that, as Ali Akbar says, “is absolutely the best ad I’ve seen.” While I won’t go that far, it is absolutely a fantastic ad that needs to be sent to all of your friends and family. Video below:

It is really pulling the emotional strings but is clearly showing true contradictions. It really does show that the person is changed somehow in Washington. Say what people want to hear, gain celebrity, and when elected shroud the about face in the cheers of those who don’t look close enough; those whose engagement in politics is a version of participatory entertainment.
