I just finished voting at my in the city of Pittsburgh. I live in what you can definitely call a college town – immediately adjacent to the campus. The line was about an hour long, consisted of roughly 75-100 people, and was probably 50-60% college students. I first voted at this polling place in 2006, and until today, I’ve never seen a line before.
While I was there, I snapped a few shots of the line on my iPhone, included after the jump for your viewing pleasure.
What does this translate into electorally? Was this a particularly large turnout for ‘young voters’? Honestly, I’m not sure.
